Create your first project
Follow this step-by-step guide to create your first 3D interactive experience.
Go to your workspace
After signing in, you'll see your workspace dashboard. This is where all your projects live. If you're new, your workspace will be empty.
Click "Create new project"
Find the "Create new project" button in your workspace. Click it to open the project creation dialog.
Choose a project type
Select the type of project you want to create:
Flipbook
Perfect for PDFs, brochures, catalogs, magazines, and any multi-page document. Includes realistic 3D page-turning animations.
Lanyard
Interactive 3D lanyard card. Great for event badges or ID cards with a unique presentation.
Business Card
Flippable 3D business card. Upload front and back images to create a card you can share.
More project types like Presentations and Portfolios are coming soon!
Enter project details
Give your project a name and optional description:
- Project Name: A clear title for your project (e.g., "Product Catalog 2024")
- Description (optional): A brief summary of what the project contains
Click "Create" to continue. You'll be taken to the project editor.
Upload your content
Now it's time to add your content:
For Flipbooks:
- Drag and drop your PDF or images into the upload area
- PDFs are automatically split into individual pages
- You can upload multiple images at once
- Reorder pages by dragging them in the sidebar
For Lanyards:
- Upload an image for your card (4:3 aspect ratio works best)
- Or use our AI tool to generate an image from a text description
- Adjust the card background color and texture settings
For Business Cards:
- Upload a front image and a back image for your card
- Use landscape orientation (1.75:1 ratio) for standard card proportions
- Adjust corner roundness in the Appearance tab
Customize your project
Use the editor sidebar to customize your project:
- Add interactive pointers (hotspots) to pages
- Customize the background (solid color, gradient, or image)
- Add navigation links to the dock
- Adjust settings like zoom level and page numbers
Share your project
When you're happy with your project:
- Set the visibility (Private, Unlisted, or Public)
- Copy the share link or download a QR code
- Get embed code to add it to your website
- Share it with the world!

You've created your first i3Dify project. Your audience can now experience your content in immersive 3D.
