Create your first project
Follow this step-by-step guide to create your first 3D interactive experience.
Go to your workspace
After signing in you land on the AI assistant, the home of your workspace. Your projects are under Projects in the sidebar. If you're new, that list is empty.
Click "New project"
Click "New project" in the sidebar. It opens the Create new project page, with a card for each project type.
Choose a project type
Pick the type of project you want to create:
Flipbook
Perfect for PDFs, brochures, catalogs, magazines, and any multi-page document. Includes realistic 3D page-turning animations.
Lanyard
Interactive 3D lanyard card. Great for event badges or ID cards with a unique presentation.
Gallery
Your images hung as artworks on a 3D gallery wall that visitors scroll along. Good for portfolios and art collections.
Business Card
Flippable 3D business card. Upload front and back images to create a card you can share.
Album
Your photos in a 3D photo album visitors leaf through page by page.
Desktop Mockup
Website or app screenshots on the screen of a 3D laptop. Tall captures scroll inside the display, one screen at a time.
Mobile Mockup
The same idea on a 3D phone, for app screens. Hotspots stay tappable when the link is opened on a real phone.
Instant Camera
A 3D instant camera that prints your photos one at a time. Each print develops as it slides out, and the next photo prints when the visitor moves on.
Mug
Your designs printed on a 3D mug that turns on its own. A wide image wraps around it, a logo goes on the front, and visitors switch between designs.
Can
The same idea on a 3D drink can: your label wraps all the way around it, and visitors spin it and switch between designs.
Not sure which type fits? Drop your files into the AI assistant and describe what you want: it picks the type, creates the project and gives you the link. How the AI assistant works
Enter project details
A dialog asks for a title and an optional description:
- Title: A clear title for your project (e.g., "Product Catalog 2024")
- Description (optional): A brief summary of what the project contains
Click "Create project". The project editor opens.
Upload your content
Now it's time to add your content:
For Flipbooks:
- Drag and drop your PDF or images into the upload area
- PDFs are automatically split into individual pages
- You can upload multiple images at once
- Reorder pages by dragging them in the sidebar
For Lanyards:
- Upload the front of the card, an image or a PDF
- Add a back image if you want one. Without it, the back shows the card's background color
- Optionally add a logo that repeats along the ribbon, and pick the ribbon color
For Business Cards:
- Upload a front image and a back image for your card
- Adjust corner roundness in Settings
Customize your project
Use the editor's tabs to customize your project:
- Add interactive hotspots in Content > Hotspots
- Set up the navigation dock in Content > Menu
- Add background music in Content > Sounds
- Change the background in Settings > Scene
- Adjust the camera angles and zoom in Settings > Camera
- Or open the AI tab and ask for the change in your own words
Share your project
When you're happy with your project:
- Open the Share tab, set the visibility to Unlisted or Public, and save the project
- Copy the share link or download a QR code
- Copy the embed code to add it to your website
- Share it with the world!
Congratulations!
You've created your first i3Dify project. Your audience can now experience your content in immersive 3D.
