AI assistant
Describe what you want in your own words, and the assistant builds the project or changes it for you. It lives on your dashboard and in the AI tab of every editor.
Where to find it
On your dashboard
After signing in you land on the assistant: it is the AI assistant item at the top of the sidebar. Drop files, say what you want, and the projects it makes appear right under the conversation.
In the AI tab
The project editor, the collection editor and Studio each have an AI tab. There the assistant changes what you have open, and it only makes a new project if you ask for one.
Create a project from your files
- Drop your files on the chat, or use Attach files. It takes JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, AVIF and PDF, up to 20 MB per image and 50 MB per PDF.
- Say what you want, for example "make a flipbook from this catalog". You can also start from one of the project type cards.
- The assistant picks the project type, creates the project and gives you its link. If it cannot tell which type you mean, it asks you.
- Keep asking for changes in the same chat, or open the project in the editor.
No files at hand? Roll the dice. It writes a request for a project made from public-domain paintings, photos or old magazines, ready to send. Rolling is free; the reply that follows uses AI tokens.
What else it can do
- Change a project you already have: its settings, colors, pages or visibility.
- Build a collection from your projects, and change how it looks.
- Film a project in Studio, and edit the Studio pieces you have.
- Remember your brand. Tell it your colors or fonts once and it uses them in the projects that follow.
- Answer questions about your workspace: how many projects you have, of which types, and who is on the team.
Saved chats
Every chat is saved. Previous chats, in the chat box, lists them so you can pick one up where you left off or delete it. New conversation, in the sidebar, starts a fresh one.
AI tokens
Each reply from the assistant spends AI tokens. One token is a thousandth of a dollar of what the AI model costs, and a typical request uses one or two. Every plan includes a monthly allowance for the whole workspace:

- The sidebar shows how many tokens are left this month.
- The allowance renews at the start of each month (UTC), and what is left does not carry over.
- When it runs out, the workspace owner can buy packs of 2,000 tokens for $5 on the Billing page. Bought tokens never expire and are used once the monthly allowance is gone.
- Connecting Claude through MCP, or calling the REST API, spends no AI tokens. Agents and API explains the limits that apply there.
