Studio
Film one of your projects with a camera you direct. Share the result as a page people scroll through, or download it as a video or an image.
What Studio makes
A Studio piece, called a composition, is a short film of one project. It is made of shots, and each shot is one camera move over the project: landing on it, moving closer, drifting across a page.
The piece itself is the main result, not a file. It has its own link at i3dify.com/studio, where visitors move through it by scrolling, or watch it play on its own. A video or an image is one more thing you can take out of it.
Where a composition can go
- Its own page, shared by link or QR code.
- A video file: MP4, WebM or GIF.
- A still image of the current frame: PNG, JPEG or WebP.
- A card in a collection, next to your projects.
How it uses your project
A composition belongs to one project and films it as it is. It does not keep a copy: the shared page loads the project every time someone opens it.
Comes from the project
- Its pages, images and screens. Replace a page in the project and the composition shows the new one.
- Its settings and its look, including the realism settings.
- Its background. A new shot uses the project's own background.
- Its framing. The Studio camera moves on top of the project's camera, so a shot with no keyframes frames the project exactly as the project does.
Can change per shot
- The background: a custom one (a solid colour, a gradient or an image) or Transparent, instead of the project's.
- Blur and focus, a border, sharpness, exposure, warmth and a handheld shake.
Belongs to the composition alone
- Its visibility and password. They are separate from the project's: a composition of a private project can be shared, and the project stays private at its own link.
- Its title, and a description that only your workspace sees.
- Its shots, text, images and music.
Deleting a project also deletes its compositions.
Making one
Studio is made for a computer. On a phone it asks you to open it in a desktop browser.
- Open a project and go to its Studio tab, or open Studio in the workspace sidebar and pick a project. Every project type can be filmed.
- Create a composition and pick its shape, for example 16:9 for a website or 9:16 for a vertical story.
- Add a template from the Templates tab to get a whole cut in one click, or add shot presets one at a time.
- Adjust the timeline: drag a shot to move it, drag its edge to change its length, open it to edit its keyframes, and choose a cut or a fade between two shots.
- Add text, images and music on top. Text can also be layered in the scene, at a depth inside the 3D, so the object can pass in front of it.
- Share it from the Share tab, or download a file.
When you open a composition from the workspace Studio, the panel beside the stage also has an AI tab, where the assistant can work on the piece with you.
By plan
Studio is the same on every plan: all templates and presets, every format and size up to 4K, and no length limit. The only difference is the i3dify mark.
| Feature | Free | Paid plans |
|---|---|---|
| Templates, presets, text and music | Yes | Yes |
| Formats and sizes | All, up to 4K | All, up to 4K |
| i3dify mark on downloaded files | Always | Your choice, off by default |
| i3dify mark on the shared page | Yes | No |
Good to know
Keep the tab open while it renders
Studio renders a video frame by frame instead of recording the screen. A heavy piece can take longer to render than it lasts, but it never drops a frame. If you switch tabs, rendering pauses and picks up when you come back.
Pick the shape first
The shape belongs to the composition. Changing it later re-frames the shots.
Live websites come out blank
A mockup screen that shows a live website is blank in a downloaded video, and the editor warns you about it.
