Navigation dock

The Navigation Dock is a floating toolbar that appears in your projects. It provides quick access to links, controls, and additional content.

What is the navigation dock?

The dock is a sleek floating bar that sits at the top or bottom of your project. It can contain:

  • Page navigation controls (flipbook)
  • Zoom in/out buttons
  • Download button (flipbook)
  • Custom links to external websites
  • Modal buttons for additional content
  • Visual dividers to organize items

Dock item types

Links

Add buttons that open external URLs. Use them for:

  • Your website or portfolio
  • Social media profiles
  • Contact pages
  • Related resources
  • Download links

Modals

Add buttons that open popup dialogs with rich text content:

  • About information
  • Contact details
  • Terms and conditions
  • Instructions or help
  • Promotional content

Dividers

Visual separators to organize dock items into groups. Use them to separate navigation controls from your custom links.

Adding dock items

  1. Open the Links tab in the sidebar
  2. Click "Add Item" to create a new dock item
  3. Choose the type: Link, Modal, or Divider
  4. For Links:
    • Enter the URL
    • Add a label (shows in tooltip)
    • Select an icon
  5. For Modals:
    • Enter a title
    • Add the modal content (rich text)
    • Select an icon
  6. Save to add the item to your dock

Managing dock items

Reorder

Drag and drop items to change their order in the dock.

Toggle

Enable or disable individual items without deleting them.

Edit

Click on an item to modify its settings, URL, or content.

Delete

Remove items you no longer need from the dock.

Customizing dock style

For Flipbooks, go to the Menu tab to customize the dock appearance. For Lanyards, style options are in the Links tab.

Position

Place the dock at the top or bottom of the viewer.

Scale

Adjust the size of the entire dock from 50% to 150%.

Background

Set the background color and opacity of the dock container.

Border

Customize the border color, opacity, and radius.

Button background

Set the background color for individual buttons in the dock.

Icon color

Change the color of icons in the dock to match your brand.

Use the "Reset to Default" button to restore original styling.

Zoom in/out controls (when enabled in settings)

Download the original PDF (Flipbook, when enabled)

Choose from 100+ icons for your dock items. Icons are organized by category:
