Carrd's Embed element accepts arbitrary HTML on Pro plans. The i3dify iframe drops in like any other widget. The 3D card matches Carrd's minimal aesthetic — no clashing brand chrome.

Step-by-step

4 steps from PDF to live embed

  1. 1

    Publish your i3dify card

    Create a Business Card project in i3dify: upload front/back, add your links (LinkedIn, IG, email, etc.). Publish and copy the iframe code.

    Add an Embed element in Carrd

    In the Carrd editor, click + → Embed. Choose "Code" type. Paste the iframe HTML into the Code field.

  3. 3

    Set the size

    In the Embed element's Style panel, set width to 100% and a fixed height (450 px works well for cards). The 3D card auto-fits.

    Save and publish

    Carrd publishes instantly. Your bio-link page now opens with a 3D card visitors flip through to see your contact info.

Carrd-specific things to know

Carrd Pro is required

Custom HTML/iframe embeds need at least Pro Standard ($19/year). Free Carrd sites can't paste iframes. If you're on free, the i3dify URL is still shareable as a direct link button.

Carrd auto-centers embeds

Embeds center horizontally by default. To left-align, switch the section to Full Width and use a flex container inside.

Mobile preview in Carrd vs reality

Carrd's mobile preview can show the iframe as a blank box. Publish the site and test on an actual phone — the 3D viewer renders correctly on real devices.

Carrd embed questions

Is i3dify a Linktree alternative for Carrd?

Yes. Where Linktree gives you a list of buttons, i3dify gives you an interactive 3D card with all your links inside. Both can sit on a Carrd page — the i3dify version stands out.

Does the 3D card work on iPhone Safari?

Yes. WebGL is supported on iOS Safari since version 12. The card animation works on iPhone 7 and newer.

Can I track scans of the QR I put on the Carrd page?

Yes. Generate the QR from the i3dify project's share panel. i3dify tracks views with referrer data, so you'll see who scanned from where.

Will the embed break if I switch Carrd plans?

Downgrading from Pro back to free disables custom embeds — the embed element disappears. As long as you stay on Pro Standard or above, the embed is permanent.
